We use a variety of wax-based, water-activated face paints, from brands like TAG Body Art, Fusion Body Art, and Diamond FX.
For face paint, you can apply soap first, then wash off with water. To remove body glitter, it's best to start with a stiff piece of paper or a credit card to gently scrape off the glitter and dispose of it in the trash. Then use soap and water to remove any remaining glitter.
Every paint we use is hypoallergenic and strives to be gentle and friendly to all skin. We know that sensitive skin can be very personal, so we're happy to apply paint to a small area of skin for anyone worried that it won't agree with them.
It depends! For events where each guest will pay for themselves, our designs start at $5 and go up to $20 per design. For bookings that will provide facepainting at no charge to guests, our rates start at $60 per hour depending on a number of factors like number of guests, kinds of designs, etc. Visit our "Contact" page to request a quote specific to your event!
Once it's dry (which usually takes only a couple of minutes), the paint should stay put fairly well on the skin. It can be reactivated by water, and some pigments are more likely to stain clothing so we wouldn't recommend wearing it with your favorite white cashmere sweater! However, the risks are fairly small and easy to avoid.
When it comes to staining skin, some colors are more difficult to remove fully, but with soap, water, and a washcloth, it will come off!
